Alex Korn, AIA founded Catamount Design in 1998 after moving to the Bay Area from Seattle where he had worked in architecture for 8 years. He went into architecture after completing a B.F.A. in Fine Arts, and, a B.A. in Creative Writing and English Literature at the University of Michigan. He obtained a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Oregon in 1989 and is licensed as an architect in Washington and California.
Catamount Design's present work ranges from new homes in California and Washington to residential remodels in the East Bay hills, commercial T.I.'s in the Bay Area, and, a new 3-story infill commercial building in Kensington, CA.
